Nest Works With Apple Watch: Download the App
The developers of Thermowatch have created an app, that allows you to control your Nest Thermostat using your Apple Watch.

Both apps, allow you to use Nest with Siri commands similar to if the devices had HomeKit integration. The Thermowatch app gets a 3.8 rating on the iOS store but after testing out the app I think it works great and a lot of the lower ratings came from the initial release of the app and those issues appear to have been corrected.
It’s simple to use and the developer has good instructions and a support database on their website for frequently asked questions.

With HomeKit you can then control your smart devices like smart light bulbs by saying voice commands to your iPhone like “Siri, turn on living room lights.” But just because a device isn’t supported by HomeKit doesn’t mean that you can’t control it on your iPhone. Does it Matter?
HomeKit is Apples’ smart home integration system that provides direct integration with Apple iOS and allows you to control smart home devices from one app the “HomeKit” on your iPhone or use Siri voice commands to control your smart home using Siri voice commands on your home.
If you buy a Nest Thermostat it will work on your iPhone and for all intents and purposes you will be able to control it just like it was intended to be controlled. But you can still control your Nest Thermostat using voice commands on Amazon Alexa devices like the Echo Show or Echo Dot, or Google Home devices.
The 3rd party Thermowatch App will allow you to control your Nest Thermostat using Siri voice commands that connects to Nest. It’s not a direct HomeKit integration but it works almost the exact same way. Tell Siri to set your Nest thermostat to 72 degrees with your voice and Siri will do it, just as if your Nest Thermostat was connected to HomeKit.
