What Is Super Alexa Mode:
Super Alexa mode is an “Easter Egg” or hidden cheat code that puts Alexa into a secret mode. The mode will display on the screen and also tell you “Super Alexa Mode Activated.” but it doesn’t actually do anything. It pays hommage to the old “Cheat Codes” that were originally available on many original Nintendo games.
With the Nintendo Games if you used the code you would typically gain “Super Power’s” like extra life or deal more damage.
The cheat codes could be used to help defeat the game or get to the next level when properly applied. On Alexa Super Alexa mode does not help you in a game or really do anything other make some noise and it’s just a cool feature use and interact with Alexa to bring back the nostalgia of old video games.

History Of Super Alexa Mode
Super Alexa mode pays homage to the cheat codes that were available on some of the earliest Nintendo games that would make the games easier to play. The code was added by game developer Kazuhisa Hashimoto and was called the Konami Code.
The Konami code was added to a variety of Nintendo games and there were other similar variations of cheat codes added to Nintendo games over the years but the Konami code was one of the most well known cheat codes of the time.
The Konami cheat codes were popularized for it’s use in the Contra Game which was I guess what you could call the closest thing to a first person shooter game at the time. I still remember playing Nintendo as a kid and using the Konami Mode ( Super Alexa Mode Commands ) to beat the game long before Alexa was even invented.
Using the Konami code which has the same sequence of buttons as super alexa mode would give you extra lives in Contra to help you defeat levels and bosses.
Similar cheat codes were also available on some Nintendo game boy games at the time.
