Does the nest smart lock work with Amazon Alexa?
No, the nest x yale smart lock does not currently work with Amazon Alexa as of September 2018 but google home does work the nest smart lock to allow for remote voice control of the nest smart lock. Even though the nest smart lock does not currently work with amazon alexa many of the other nest devices do work with Amazon Alexa.

Nest Hello Smart Video Doorbell
The nest hello video video doorbell works with alexa to show you live video feeds from your nest hello smart doorbell using alexa voice commands. You will need to download the free amazon alexa nest camera skill on the amazon store here. To view the live video feed on Alexa you will need to get a compatible Amazon Echo device like the Echo Show with a 10” screen or the Echo Spot with it’s smaller more compact round screen.
To enable the live video feed once the skill is added just say:
"Alexa, show me my front door."
or
"Alexa, show me [name of doorbell in nest app]."
Nest Video Cameras Work With Alexa
The nest cameras work with alexa to show you live video feeds from your nest cameras using alexa voice commands. You will need to download the free amazon alexa nest camera skill on the amazon store here. You will also need an amazon echo device with a screen such as the echo show or the echo spot, which will allow you to view the video feed.
To enable the live video feed once the skill is added just say:
"Alexa, show me my backyard cameras"
or
"Alexa, show me [name of doorbell in nest app]."
Do Nest Smoke Detectors Work With Alexa?
No, nest smoke detectors are not currently supported by amazon alexa. There is no google home voice control of the nest smoke detectors as of September 2018.
Does the Nest Security System Work With Alexa?

No, the nest security system does not currently work with Alexa. The nest security system does work with voice control using a google home. If you have a google home or google home mini you can arm your security system using the google home device and your voice. For security purposes you cannot disarm your nest security system with your voice.
